A career as a Registered Nurse and Midwife, spent both in this country and abroad, and a desire to provide holistic care to my patients, has led me on a journey of exploration and learning.

To complement my professional qualifications and experience, I have successfully completed studies in complementary therapies including reflexology, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), hypnotherapy, and Bio-resonance therapy.  At Amanda Gwynne Consultancy I offer a holistic approach to  treatments,  workshops and classes for clients with a wide variety of needs. Utilizing my nursing and midwifery skills has allowed me to specialize in the treatment of infertility, pregnancy and childbirth, using a combination of therapies.

I see the integration of complementary therapies with traditional medicine as the holistic approach to treat the 'whole person' and offer my clients a wide range of therapies tailored to their needs.  In addition to offering therapies and treatments, I facilitate and run courses, presentations, and advice on natural fertility, hypnobirthing, weight loss, and stress management.

Membership of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), Embody and MNSPH provides me with access to continuing professional development, support and insurance for all my qualifications.

Clinics are available in Inverness, and Muir of Ord for both animal and human therapies. Home/stable appointments may be arranged for horses.
